Happy Year of the Horse!
Good–bye Year of the Snake, Hello Year of the Horse. While this past year wasn't all bad, I'm sure we are all ready for this year to be better. Traditionally, the Year of the Snake is one of laying low and playing it safe. Caution and planning are the buzzwords. After all this planning and preparation, the Year of the Horse is a time for bold action to implement those plans we've been working on. It is a year that favors enterprise and a pioneering spirit. The Horse personifies a sense of energy, vitality and freedom. It is a time to strive for new heights of achievement through physical courage and the will to make it happen.
Persons born under the sign of the Horse are said to embody elegance and ardor. They tend to be stylish and popular, and they enjoy meeting people and participating in social gatherings, where they often like to be the center of attention. They tend to have a straightforward manner and be eloquent and persuasive speakers. On the downside, they may have a fiery temper and not be good at keeping secrets.
Horses prefer freedom and independence. They hate being bound by petty rules and regulations, preferring to be their own boss — yet they still seek the support and approval of others in their endeavors. Horses enjoy a challenge and can be tireless, methodical workers who will go far in life. Horses are said to love variety in their lives and will often try many different things before settling on a career. They love to travel and have an adaptable nature that lets them fit in wherever they go.
Although Horses can be stubborn and self–centered they have a considerate nature and a willingness to be of service. If they can rein in their restless nature and control their temper they will generally will have a life that includes many friends and activities and is rarely dull.
